Why I’m Launching a Private Podcast for Our Community

W&J is turning five—how wild is that?!

It’s honestly hard to believe. Along the way, I’ve learned a ton (some lessons the hard way!), and I wouldn’t be where I am today without a lot of exploring, testing, reflecting, and yes—hitting a few bumps in the road.

But one thing that’s stayed constant is my love for learning and my obsession with business strategy and simple systems. (I’m a little embarrassed to admit just how many courses I’ve taken in these five years—haha!)

Out of everything I’ve tried, podcasts have become my go-to way to keep learning. They’re perfect for my busy life—whether I’m taking my two fluffy Aussie doodles for a walk or squeezing in some design time at my desk, podcasts just fit in. There are some amazing ones out there (like Hot Young Designers Club, The Interior Collective, and Easy Scaling with Jordan Schanda King), but let’s be real—there are a few duds too.

And I don’t know about you, but as a busy momma of two, I don’t have time for fluff. If I’m going to invest my time, it has to be something valuable—something that’s worth my attention. These days, attention feels like the most precious resource, right?

I love soaking up big-picture strategy, but I’m also all about practical tips I can actually use. And there’s just something about hearing other business owners share their journeys—raw and unfiltered—that brings so much value.

So, why a podcast?

Break Free is my way of inviting you to connect. The online business world is noisy and crowded, and I know what my people crave most is that genuine, one-on-one connection. This podcast will be a space where we can meet, share, and learn together in a way that feels personal, community-driven, and accessible—whether you’re on a walk, picking up the kids from school, or knee-deep in design work.

What’s in it for you?

This podcast isn’t just about my journey—it’s about real-life business experiences, mine and my clients’. We’ll dive into the wins, the struggles, and everything in between, sharing how we tackle challenges together. It’s an exclusive, invite-only space where we can get real, connect on a deeper level, and learn from each other. That’s what I believe makes entrepreneurship a little less lonely and a lot more fulfilling.

What to expect:

Think short, snackable episodes packed with insights and actionable tips. It’s like having a business coach right in your pocket! We’ll cover topics like brand strategy, client experience design, creative entrepreneurship, and leadership. You’ll learn how to stand out from the crowd, create simple systems to sustain your growth and delegate like a pro.

If you’re tired of fluff and craving some real, behind-the-scenes insights on running a simple, aligned, and sustainable business, Break Free is for you. Join us and get access as soon as we launch—click here to be the first to know!
